Harsh Realization- I am an AWFUL Blogger

Ok, so I've come to realize that this whole thing just might not be one of my strongest spots. But you know, that's ok. I don't really need to be great at it, so we'll just keep on truckin'! We did move here to Edmonton, and did move into the place I mentioned in my last post. It has taken a little organization and thinking, but we are in and all unpacked, and things are going pretty great in that department. It took Paul about 5 days to find a job, and lots and lots of phone cals. But, he did it! And on top of that, it is pretty much his dream job. He has wanted to work at this particular shop since he heard about it in school. In their last year of school, NAIT autobody students actually take a tour of his shop. See, this is the thing about his shop. Not only do they fix cars, they fix fancy and high end cars. I'm talking about Porsche's, BMW's, Ferarri's, Land Rovers, Audi's, and so on. He absolutely loves it. He loves to go to work in the morning, he is happy when he comes home from work. He is always coming home saying something like-honey, i fixed this porsche today-it was soooo nice! It has been a huge blessing for us, and we rally know that Heavenly Father has had his hand in our lives. After all that complaining I did last time, now I feel a little bad! Maybe next time I will Jjust go with the flow and be happy! Anyway, we were worried about Paul having to take a big paycut to work in Edmonton, but as it turns out, it wasn't as bad as we thought. We did decide though that I was going to babysit just one other child in our home so that I could bring in a little more income to bridge the gap, but still be able to be home with Amelia and not be taking care of a bunch of kids, which is why we said only one. So I put up an ad on the internet, and for about two weeks there was little to no interest. I was really feeling discouraged, because I needed to make up that difference. I had applied for another mystery shop job on the side that my mom used to work for, and they hadn't called me back either. But just when I think this is never going to happen, and that we need to work out another solution, Heavenly Father doesit again! I should have known. I also should have known that it would not be what we were expecting. I got a call last Sunday afternoon from a single Dad who was really in a bind. He is still dealing with a lot of things in his life and from the past, and is having a really hard time doing it all. He really needs to work, but his job keeps him on the road a lot, and that is tough with his son needing to go to school. So anyway, long story short, his son Austin, who is seven is now living at our house in the week, and his Dad comes to visit him on the weekends if he can. It is very Different, now having a 7 year old that is pretty much our kid. He is a good kid, but efinitely has that 7 year old attitude going on. All normal but annoying and frustrating all the same. It is only until the end of the summer, so it is not forever, and it is going to give us a lot of extra income to pay off things and catch up before Paul goes to school again. We also feel like Heavenly Father knows we can give Austin a stable home environment to live in for a while, something that he has never really had. He has had a very patched together life until now, and he is really able to calm down and grow here, even though it is hard for him. It has definitely made our house a little squishier, but we are making do, and Heavenly Father is filling everything else in. We truly have been blessed by Him, even though it is not in any way what we expected. I suppose that is something we needed to learn in a very obvious way. I can't believe that I'm actually saying this-but we are truly graetful far everthing that has happened, even though it wasn't easy.
